Product Update – Eco Gasoline 5W-30 & 10W-40

We are pleased to announce that two of our semi-synthetic engine oils, Eco Gasoline 5W-30 and 10W-40 have been updated to attain the new API SN category. This update offers the following benefits (according to the API website):
– Provides improved high temperature deposit protection for pistons
– Better sludge control
– Better seal compatibility.
The update also means Eco Gasoline 5W-30 & 10W-40 now meet the latest European standards of Euro 5 & Euro 6. The products are fully compatible with engine oils that meet the requirements of earlier API categories SM and SL.
Additionally, Totachi Eco Gasoline 5W-30 has received the API SN Resource Conserving classificiation- which matches the ILSAC GF-5 category by “combining SN performance with improved fuel economy, turbocharger protection, emission control system compatibility, and protection of engines operating on ethanol-containing fuels up to E85.”
