Japanese engineers developed ULTIMA RACING oil using the unique TOTACHI ZFM+™ (Zero Friction Molecular Plus) anti-friction technology
The ZFM+ technology is the most modern version of MoDTC - trimer, developed on the basis of trinuclear molybdenum, (Molybdenum Dialkyl Dithiocarbamate (MoTDC). Unlike binuclear molybdenum used in oil compositions produced using ZFM technology, the effective dosage of trinuclear molybdenum is several times less and rarely exceeds 50-100 parts per million. However, it surpasses all previously known friction modifiers in terms of protection, guarantees a strong oil film thickness at high temperature and high pressure, which reduces metal contact with metal, reduces wear and generally ensures reliable operation of the engine

The scheme demonstrates the effectiveness of ZFM+ technology even in low concentrations – 75 ppm

The coefficient of friction is a value for the ratio of the friction force to the downforce between two bodies. Denoted by the sign μ (Mu).

This diagram shows that at a concentration in the lubricant of 75 and 200 ppm, friction decreases from 0.14 to 0.04 µ (i.e. more than 3 times), with an increase in temperature, this process is activated, and is relevant for internal combustion engines where the temperature in the area of compression and oil rings reaches 100-120 0С
