TOTACHI HYPER RANGE – Upgrade to API SQ / ILSAC GF-7

Dear Valued Customer, From February 2026, selected TOTACHI HYPER ECODRIVE viscosity grades will be available in API SQ / ILSAC GF-7. During the transition period, both API SP and API SQ products may coexist in the market.

Modern passenger car engines have evolved to meet higher fuel efficiency and lower emissions requirements, creating increased demands on engine oil performance. To address these challenges, API SQ and ILSAC GF-7 were introduced for 2026 model-year vehicles, delivering enhanced protection against LSPI, timing chain wear, oxidation, and high-temperature deposits, while supporting improved fuel economy.

In line with TOTACHI’s commitment to advanced engine protection, the TOTACHI HYPER range is being upgraded from API SP / ILSAC GF-6 to API SQ / ILSAC GF-7. Products are approved by API.

The first shipment of API SQ / ILSAC GF-7 products is expected in March 2026. We appreciate your understanding and continued support as we implement this transition.

With the specification upgrade, the ZFM™ logo has been refreshed. In addition, a New Energy Vehicle (NEV) logo has been introduced, highlighting the product’s alignment with sustainability requirements and modern engine technologies.

TOTACHI HYPER Range is an advanced fully synthetic engine oil enhanced with TOTACHI’s core anti-friction technology, ZFMTM (Zero Friction Molecular), to reduce friction and wear of highly loaded engine parts that are exposed to intensive duty cycles and high operating temperatures. It extends the engine life while lowering harmful emissions.

Applicable for use in New Energy Vehicles (NEV) requiring low viscosity oils – 0W8, 0W12, 0W16, 0W20, 0W30, 5W20, 5W30 and 10W30. NEV includes Hybrid Electric Vehicles (HEV), Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicles (PHEV), and Extended-Range Electric Vehicles (EREVs).
