TOTACHI® batteries are manufactured using the most modern calcium technology (Ca/Ca), ensuring high reliability in everyday vehicle use. Lead with added calcium is used to make plates of both positive and negative charges.
In the production process of gratings, a method of continuous casting and stamping of plates is used - the so-called “Expanded Metal”.
Thanks to this, the starting power of the battery is significantly improved. In addition, the use of calcium technology prevents boil-over, making the battery “maintenance-free.” Thanks to Ca/Ca technology, the battery is more resistant to self-discharge in a state of inactivity, provides a longer battery storage period and is characterized by high starting currents in all weather conditions.
Almost all modern passenger cars are equipped from the factory with just such batteries; accordingly, the on-board network is designed for them and the voltage generated by the standard generator is adjusted.
